1986 Wolfsburg edition.
Vanagon pop-top Westy.
$3500.00
This was as customers VW. They were on the way back from the Key's and the engine blew. Price tag was too high for a new motor, so we ended up buying the VW.
Good motor installed now. Runs real nice, quiet and smooth. Some bumps and bruises, rust by the gas cap. Interior is clean, but seats are worn out. All lights, signals, dome and map light, etc, in working order. Even the clock works! 177k on camper. Not sure on the motor, but it's sold, leak free and starts right up. Canvas is good, except the front screen has a few tears. Headliner very nice. Window seals are only a few years old. Paint is flaking. Worst dent is the drivers side is pushed in a bit, but very hard to tell. Correct tires are in great shape. Tranny does have a hum when driving. Haven't driven it enough to see if it gets better as the gear oil was changed and LUCAS transmission additive was added as well. Goes through the gears perfect though, and drives straight down the road.
NC title is clear. Get it before we strip it and restore it. We have 3-in line before this one, and I'd prefer not to see it sit....

1958 VW Single Cab.
The ultimate Rat-Rod.
$5,000.00
I bought this truck to use as a work bench and storage unit in my garage. Towed it from Georgia to Florida and it tows just fine on a dolly. It's turned into a 9'x5' holder of junk from around the inside of the shop! It no longer has room to work on as a work bench, so it's for sale. It rolls in and out of the garage without effort with it's monster 2275cc engine w/dual Webers. 15" Empi rims w/good tires, though a bit dry rotted - but full tread though.
It came with no title, so it still has no title. Georgia truck last registered 1979/1980. Rusty and crusty, but frame still very good. Go figure. Gates all have rust at the underbody, but function exactly as they should and are in good shape otherwise. Dual treasure chest storage. Front floor shot. DON'T ASK IF THERE'S RUST. I SAID RUST enough times already!
It is what it is - you can't get a good work bench or rat-rod project for low $$ these days... and this one rock n' rolls real nice.
